Inspired Interns are a group of motivated and creative individuals who want to do more than volunteer. They feel passionately about arts education and want to learn about making a nonprofit work. They are there from the ground up and work closely with directors to create the camp as we know it today. Interns will be empowered to make changes and operate as independently as possible all while learning and refining invaluable leadership and communication skills.
This position is a bigger time commitment than volunteering, as it will run the length of the entire summer. Specific times are very flexible and based mostly on accomplishing tasks. All interns will be responsible for volunteer recruitment and management as well as fundraising and developing curricula. Specific tasks will be delineated through a planning process between the selected intern and camp directors, but for an idea click here. While these internships are unpaid, we guarantee the leadership and life skills you learn in your role will be priceless.
